Jain Vishva Bharati Institute (Deemed-to-be University), Ladnun, Rajasthan, was established in 1991 with the vision of harmonizing ancient Indian wisdom with modern academic disciplines. Recognized under Section 3 of the UGC Act, the institute functions as a center for higher learning, research, and extension, committed to value-based education and holistic human development.
The university is inspired by the universal ideals of Anekant (non-absolute outlook), Ahimsa (non-violence), tolerance, and peaceful coexistence. Guided spiritually by Acharya Shri Mahashraman, the eleventh supreme head of the Jain Śvetāmbara Terapanth tradition, JVBI maintains a non-sectarian and inclusive academic environment that transcends religious and cultural boundaries.
